Dear Mr Medawar,

Following my earlier letter of 25 March, I wanted to give you an update on a number of matters connected with your recent letters to the MCA

First of all I understand that you have not received an acknowledgement of your letters to Professor Rawlins of 12 March and Mr Whitbread of 20 March concerning various CSM matters. I do apologise for this. Your requests are being considered and replies will be sent as soon as possible.

I expect to reply to your letters to me of  7, 10 and 20 March before the end of the month.

Dr Munro's review of your appeal (11 February) is underway. You also asked some additional questions and, as they touch on this review, I will reply on these points once the review is complete.

Finally, I note you have written to Dr Jones in response to his letter of 1 April and we shall send you a reply as soon as we can.
