Dear Mr. Medawar,
I'm very puzzled by your letter of 19th January. I have never at any point done anything, or written anything about Detrusitol per se. I have taken part in the campaign that Pharmacia and Upjohn sponsored about female incontinence, but that's as far as I've gone. Since you appear to have lost my original letter, I send you a photocopy of it, and will highlight the relevant paragraph.
You will, of course, be receiving a reply from the Director of the PA in due course. I can assure you that we answer every letter we receive.
