I was diagnosed with depression over 7 weeks ago now, and was given Escitalopram (another version of cipramil). I too lost my libido almost 2 minutes after i took the first tablet!!!! They did help with the depression, but made me feel high and i couldnt sleep either. It turned me into...shall we say....a rather chatty guy too!!!
Am now on Zispin 30mg...well was. I have stopped taking them as they are making me sleep for 14+ hrs....even when ive done jack all day.
I now feel much better for NOT taking Zispin, but if i look at all the people who shuffle around this town, with black sockets for eyes and pale blue skin............i now understand why......they all on Zispin.
If you value life, which is always a tough thing when u suffer from depression.......do not accept this course of pills from your doctor..........although it did bring my libido back to life...........but no good if u cant be arsed taking your boxers off.
