I have been on paxil for 2 years. I started with 10mg and got up to 60mg. My doctor was crazy. I didn't care if i got ran over by a car. I got myself down to 20mg then he changed me to a 37.5 time released paxil. I tried once to get off and i felt just like you describe. I have decided to get off again; however, this time i am taking it very slow. I cut my pill in half and took 1/2 for 2 weeks, then i cut them int 1/4 i took 1 aday fr 2 weeks. I am now taking 1/4 every other day. I do still have the electronic jolts, "zaps" however they are not near as bad as they were. i am just going to take it real slow. if i find that i am having a really zappy day i take 1/4. slowly but surly i am going to get off these pills> good luck.
