You have a rosy view of cipramil and withdrawal from it - it is likely to CAUSE depersonalisation whilst taking it and when you stop. Obviously if that is a symptom you have before you take it - its hard to be sure, but some of us only experienced this after starting the drug. But cipramil is a mind-altering substance , which often alters your mind in a way that is totally undesirable - dont underestimate its effects. (take a look back through some of these postings if you are sceptical)
When you stop taking these medications the effects can be profound, your brain struggles so hard to find an equilibrium, but that doesnt mean you NEED to take it.
