To all who have been having such a problem coming off Celexa: I had severe nausea, dizziness, and that feeling of "motion sickness" and a "whooshy" feeling in my head each time I move my eyes from side to side. I couldn't read or work on my computer -- and that was tough, because I'm a corporate writer!

Since I didn't want to treat withdrawal with another antidepressant, my doctor suggested treating the symptoms. Dramamine, for motion sickness, offered relief from the dizziness and nausea, and made me feel 100 times better in just three days!

Try Dramamine or an antihistamine. This really helped and allowed me to continue working.

I'm still having some of the "whooshy" feelings in my head and when I move my eyes, but these also are subsiding somewhat. It's been about 3 weeks since I stopped taking the pills.
