jennifer, i was on saroxat and paroxatine for a year and a half and when it came time to coming off it, i too had a bad time.i got the zaps no matter how much i tapered of it. so after lowering the dose again and again even breaking my 10mg talet in half and taking that every day, every other day,every two days etc when i eventually stopped for more than two or three days the zaps wich were my biggest hurdle started so i decided i would ride them out if i could. i got the zaps solid for the first three days, lukily i had two weeks off work cause i would not have been able to go in, they scared me at first but after three days they slowly started to get less frequent then they started to anoy me i would say it took about three weeks before they more or less stopped maybee the odd one or two after that it was three weeks of hell but still the gains out weighed the side effects for me.
