I've taken various anti-depressants for 10 years. I've been on Effexor for maybe 3-4 years. I don't even know if I need anti-depressants anymore. I've tried before to get off others, but now want to really find out if I need anything. I've started taking Effexor every other day vs everyday. What side effects should I expect? Right now, I feel like I have the flu, my whole body aches. Emotionally, right now I'm up and down slightly, but I assume this will increase as I decrease the medication. Can someone tell me if the symptoms I have now are normal and what is ahead of me and for how long?
