Hi Anni,
I think the way that you have come off is not the best way at all to do so. I have been on seroxat 8 years with numerous attempts to come off,ie breaking tablets in half, trying to take them on alternative days. I am now 2 weeks off them, today actually!. I checked up on the liquid form of seroxat, deroxat and if you look on the seroxat users website you can get the plan to withdraw. It has taken me 3 months to get off this medication and I am now free of it. The side effects are less doing it this way and your brain gets used to lower dose more gradually thus lower side effects. I am looking into the St Johns Wort option for future ref if I feel I need it, I am also taking Omega 3 capsule to help as Omega 3 helps rebuild the receptors that produce seronotin. I hope that this is some help, I know that you will be feeling really awful and it is so hard but you would really be better if the withdrawal effects which they will believe me!, switching to the liquid form. The doctors may be relunctant to give it as it is alot more expensive than the tablets, ironic really!!
