Not sure if this will be useful but I did the following:- Took half a tablet every other day for about 8 or ten weeks. Still fell asleep in the afternoons etc but didn't have any brain shocks etc. Any longer than 48 hrs between half tablets and I did get them again. Then, on my doctors insistence, (saying my symptoms were really depression ! I should have trusted MY instincts !) I took one and a half tablets for two days - result, I fell asleep after breakfast as well as after lunch and felt terrible. I got so fed up with these tablets I decided to go cold turkey. I lasted, fighting the onset of withdrawl after about 9 days, for 14 days before the withdrawl was unbearable. I took a quarter of a tablet (not easy to split into quarters!)and another quarter 48hrs later. Result ? I have no symptoms, even after 48hrs. This means I can take a quarter tablet every other day and then maybe try to stretch it to every 72hrs and so on. That's what I intend to do. Interestingly, I don't feel exhausted or a need for sleep after lunch as before. I'd conclude from this, if you can let the serotonin levels drop, even suddenly, and go for as long as possible before taking 1/4 tablet, just that small dose is enough to alleviate the withdrawl. I'll post again when I know more. Maybe this will help someone else to try and see if the outcome is similar.
