I gained thirty pounds after being on celexa for nine months. I stopped cold turkey about three months ago, not just because of the weight gain but also I felt very lazy,unmotivated,devoid of emotion....not in a depressed way but in a weird it's all too good kinda way. Anyway thirty pounds in nine months and now after three months quitting i have finally had some weight come off. I have been jogging three miles a day, lifting weights and eating under 1600 cals a day(for the most part ;) ) i just wanted to let people know the weight does come off but it is slow and hard work. I get so frustrated at times, but i have lost 6 pounds and i have to hope i will eventually lose all of it.
