I have come off cimpramil after 8mths and am having the same symptoms as with comming off zoloft a few yrs ago. Its not as bad as with the Zoloft so im not really complaining yet but the symptoms include extreme hot and cold flushes, vertigo or dizzness, flu like symtoms that could be unrelated and a quick tendency to get teary. Dose was originally 50mg and i didnt have many problems but after doulbing the dose to 100mg i suffered terryfying dreams for weeks, hot sweats that soaked the sheets and then it finally settled. I suffered from extreme tiredness so decided to try comming off them as i wasnt feeling too depressed and felt i may not need them at this time. I do feel that i benifited from them greatly but it is unfortunate that the side effects such as all of the above and loss of sex drive, increased weight etc are not taken very seriously, in the way antidepressants etc are administered and unadministered; and also in the patient care that involves healing not just hiding the causes of the illness.
