Hi Gert. I am from New Zealand and was prescribed Aropax 2 years ago. I have been completely med free for at least 2 months now but still feel the side effects not to mention terrible depression. I was told that i would experience a few side effects when i started the aropax, which i did, but no one told me it would take me 5 months to come off the drug. I know of others who have tried and failed to come off it becasue the side effects were so bad, and infact many a time i came close to giving up. The information available to GP's must be ammended because too many people are being put on medication for a quick fix, without being aware of the consequences this may have for their health and wellbeing in the future. I would certainly have looked at other alternatives before turning to Aropax had i known what i know now. No matter how bad things get in my life i will never put myself through that again. Good luck
