Yes, I had all those feelings and at times I still do, but I am able to recognize it for what it is and process it quicker. I know how it feels to have the bad days outweigh the good. The whole summer it took all that I had to get out of bed in the morning. If I didn't have to work, I probably would not have gotten out of bed! How do you get through your panic attacks? Do you have any tools/skills to help you through? I am pretty much able to nip a full blown panic attack in the bud now. Have you read any books by Dr. Claire Weeks? They were written a while ago, but for the most part they are an excellent source for panic/depression and I actually carried them around with me for a while! I never tried herbal remedies as I didn't want to do anything further to mess with my serotonin, but that is only my opinion...please do what you feel comfortable. I take a multi- vitamin daily as well as 1000 mg and 500 mg of magnesium before bed and extra vitamin b-6 for 10 days up until I start my menstrual cycle. Through all of this I have found that we do have to work hard to change our thought patterns...I am not trying to make it sound like it is some simple thing or make light of it. It takes a lot of practice, but again, I am living proof that it can be done. I wish you knew me personally and could see the change in me over the last few months! There is so much I would like to type, but it would take forever. If you want, you can email me privately as well. [email protected]
