Unlike the other SSRIs, Effexor XR requires a lot less miligrams of dosage to get its effect than say Zoloft, Wellbutrin etc. To me 225 mg is a mega dosage. I started at 75mg and asked the doc to go lower! Now over 2 years at 37.5 mg and all is well. [email protected]
