Yesterday my GP phoned me (I'd asked him to as it's impossible to get an appointment sometimes) and we discussed how I'm going to stop the Efexor. I tried (Wednesday 21st) not taking the 37.5mg one all day but it was horrendous and I ended up taking 2 at 2am on Thursday. I now have to break them in half. This makes me mad as the manufactureres of this drug have a lot to answer for. Have you tried cutting one of these in half? There is a lot of wastage, mostly due to the tablets having five sides!!! (and no score line in the middle either). At present I get my dad to cut them with the sharpest knife we've got otherwise I might end up in A & E with part of a finger sliced off.
