I am horrified that I wasn't told of the terrible withdrawal effects Paxil has. My Dr encouraged me to take it saying only good things, I did minimal research myself, obviously not enough. As a pharmacist myself,(I started Paxil before I became a pharmacist) I now go out of my way to warn people of the possible withdrawals associated with this and other drugs. I think we are going to see a lot of lawsuits in the future. It is a combined responsibility between the Dr/pharmacist to make sure people are given enough information to make an informed decision themselves. I've been paxil-free for a week now but am feeling terrible, my body just feels like it doesn't function without it. This site has helped me beyond belief, just to know that there are people who are going through/have been through this is such an amazing support- thankyou everyone.
