Thank you for your letter of 23 June. Please treat this reply as a formal complaint.

1. I requested a copy of the Assessment Report on Detrusitol in my letter of 30 January. It does not seem reasonable to expect me to wait six months or more while the Agency niggles over what to disclose and what not.

2. In your last letter (18 April) you told me you "would hope to be able to reply by the end of May". Your excuse for now suggesting that your "consideration" will take at least until the end of July - that the Assessment Report is a substantial document - therefore seems hollow. At best, it suggests the Agency's estimates are hopeless, absolutely not to be relied on.

3. The excuse offered for this delay could not possibly apply to many questions I raised about the advertising of this product in my letters of 30 January, 14 February and 24 March. No response on any point has been received.

4. This is all part of a pattern of abusive delay that has lasted for the best part of three years.
